Building Better Teams

Team Building is one of the best ways to increase productivity at your workplace. Our Team Building Tours bring your employees together to participate in fun activities that can improve on their social skills and help you resurrect team spirit. Most activities will force them to solve problems logically and execute tasks that are ideally huge for one person but could be small for a team.

By the end of the excursion, your whole team should be more fit to deliver better service at work, guaranteeing you higher sales and or better numbers in the future. We believe that a successful team building activity with us should mean a more comfortable, successful working environment for your company or organization, large or small.

We planned ours!

Recently, we were part of the planned five-day workshop organized by COMCEC UTB and other partners with the main theme: Enhancing the Capacity of Tourism and travel personnel for adapting to changing in the Tourism Sector. The workshop was also attended by delegates from over 20 companies.

The workshop ran from Monday 14th to Friday 18th August, 2023 with concepts about new technologies discussed, and touristic activities organized for the attendees.

We were split into 3 groups on day 3 such that after the breakout sessions of about half an hour, each group was to discuss and present one of 3 main topics. After these educative sessions, attendees were treated to nature walks, and visits to some of the rare tourist attractions in the area including the Mahoma Falls, a model Homestead, Bigodi Swamp and Kibale National Park: The Primate Capital of the world.

Along the different routes, we stopped over at scenic spots in and around Fortportal Tourism City such as the sports arena and the hills of Kyakaigo, experienced different communities; take BICOWA (Bigodi Community Walk) for instance, and we’ll be ready to take you there whenever you’re in the city.

Generally, we were able to experience a week outside office, learn as much as we did, and are now implementing on the experts’ recommendations one at a time; so that we better serve you.

Surely, we won’t and may never forget all the knowledge and experiences shared at this workshop, alongside all the memories our team was able to make. We’ve already put together a few packages to blend more than one activity in our Chimp Tracking Tours, Crater lakes Explorations, biking tours or Nature Walk experiences.

Key notes:

  • COMCEC was founded to improve the functionality, effectiveness, and sustainability of transport and communications in the OIC Member States, Uganda being a member state.

  • UTB stands for Uganda Tourism Board

  • The 3 main topics discussed were;

    • How to embrace the existent digital marketing platforms and trends as Tours & Travel agents,

    • Managing customer relationships as companies in the Tours & Travel business, and

    • Managing Supplier and partner relationships in the Tours & Travel business.

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.
