Kihingami Swamp Walk

In the year 2005 the founder of Kabarole Tours Richard Tooro passed on a business trip the Kihingami Wetlands, when he saw workers cutting down the forest and monkeys fleeing the scenery. He couldn't continue his trip. By contacting the local press he could stop the deforestation and establish the local NGO “Kihingami Wetland Eco-Tourism Association”, which goal is the protection and conservation of the Wetlands.

Since a short time it is now possible to do a trip to the Kihingami Wetlands. Walk in the swamp and search for birds, plants, primates and butterflies. By doing this guided tour with Kabarole Tours you are directlysupporting the forest with all its animals and plants in it.
