Kigere Lakeside Camp & Cottages

The Kigere Lakeside Cottage is located in a big green garden between the shores of Lake Kigere and Lake Nyabikere. Seven Kilometers away from Fort Portal the Cottage is your perfect base in the Ugandan nature for exploring the surroundings.

There are many attractions near the cottage. Visit the three Craterlakes or the Amabere Caves nearby. Enjoy the view on the Rwenzori Mountains or visit the Mountains of the Moon University. Take a swim in the billharzia free Lake Kigere or do Birdwatching - if you are lucky you may even see the Crowned Cranes in the morning hours.

The accomodation offers space for up to 5 persons. It has two bedrooms, three double beds and also an additional matress. Perfect for a family in a quite spot in some of Ugandas finest nature.

Camping facilities are also available.

Isunga Lodge

The Isunga Lodge is located on the edge of Kibale Forest National Park 30 kilometers near Fort Portal. The lodge sits on an elevated position, with magnificent views of the rainforest, the majestic peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains and all the way to Queen Elizabeth and Lake George. The surrounding area is defined by the over 50 Craterlakes around.

The lodge gets run by the Scotish couple Gerard and Karen and first opened its doors in late 2016.
