Kasenda Crater Lake Belt Exploration Tour
A day trip takes you to five crater lakes, through villages, lush forests and a waterfall.
Take a break to swim in Lake Nkuruba, and look for birds along the way.
A short hike to the ‘Top of the World’ view point and then lunch at Lake Nkuruba. Make a break at the spectacular Lake Nyinambuga the lake depicted on the 20.000 Uganda shilling note.
Over 100 species of birds inhabit the forest, as well as primates including vervet, black & white colobus and red colobus monkeys.
One of the highlights of the tour is the walk to the Mahoma Falls. Standing under the falls while a stream of water from the Rwenzori mountains is rushing down is a real experience.
